8. Modern-day Pioneers of the BOS
In this episode, we meet three modern-day pioneers at the Port Kembla Steelworks's BOS facility: Ruby O’Driscoll, Kiana Rodgers and Gillian Smillie. On 7 October 2020, they were the first to constitute an all-female team in the BOS control-room—a crucial point in our manufacturing process. They explain the role of the BOS, their own career backgrounds and how they feel about this historic moment.
